Six Spots to Spend Valentine’s Day with Your Sweetheart in the Pensacola Bay Area Make a pit stop at the famous Joe Patti’s Seafood store and pick up a loaf of just-baked bread and a few pounds of freshly caught Gulf shrimp before you head to Bartram Park to enjoy a romantic picnic on the waterfront. (Insider tip: for a few dollars more, Joe Patti’s will steam the shrimp and douse them in one of their famous seasonings so they’re ready to eat!) Spend time exploring Big Lagoon State Park, and climb to the top of the four-story lookout tower to experience the natural beauty of the marshes and the beach. Visit the Global Grill for a taste of unique tapas with a Southern flair, then walk across the street to the Saenger Theatre to enjoy the final celebration of Irish music at Riverdance at 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $53-$68. Enjoy the unique art at the Pensacola Museum of Art, where admission is free on Tuesdays, before spending time in the romantic atmosphere of Jackson’s Steakhouse, where you can toast with a glass of fine wine and indulge on tender prime steaks.
